Description

We present to the market a Halmatic 28 Cabin. Ex MOD, the hull was built for the SAS and the vessel underwent a complete refit in 2020. With an aluminium wheelhouse offering great visibility from the helm and heads to the stern via a separate external compartment. Well equipped with a Raymarine Hybrid touch chartplotter and VHF this boat is more than capable in rough weather handling and reaches speeds of approx 52 knots. Fitted with twin Suzuki DF300 outboards 2016 model but not commissioned until September 2020, less than 20 hours run to date. Don't miss out this boat is a real head-turner and an extremely capable sea-going vessel. Now lying ashore at Conwy Marina.

Construction

Halmatic Arctic 28 Rib, built by Halmatic in 2004 for the MOD #R15233.

UKSF RIBs are typically operated by Special Forces Boat Operators (SFBO) or a RIB Team from the Maritime Maneauver Squadron (MMS). She was overhauled in 2020 for use as an Offshore Support Vessel and re-fitted with twin Suzuki 300hp outboards.

Accommodations

A large wheelhouse provides seating for two forward and storage areas behind. There is plenty of scope to modify this layout to suit your needs. The wheelhouse door leads out into the aft cockpit which has a partial canopy. There is an enclosed head compartment to the starboard with a chemical toilet.
