    She's a good-looking boat with with her stylish profile and aggressive appearance, but even more notable is the fact that she can turn an honest 30 knots with standard 485-hp 6-71 diesels. Both engines rebuilt less then 400 hrs ago. That spells economy: at a hard 27-knot cruising speed. Built on a light-weight hull and 2 degree of transom dead-rise, she's quick to accelerate and get on plane. Ocean 48s were offered with a very popular three-stateroom, mid-galley interior in addition to a conventional two-stateroom, galley-down floorplan. The interior cabinetry and woodwork are varnished teak, and the array of standard equipment included cockpit controls, tackle center with freezer, teak cockpit sole, and teak covering boards. 

2017

Cockpit: New Teak cockpit, board covers and swim platform. New swim ladder also. New Cockpit clutch controls. Spare prop storage, A\C pump and 50a electric shoreline.

2018

 Interior:  New Carpet, mattress, LED overhead lights, LED TV in master stateroom, pull out bed, create storage and new hatch screens.

Plumbing: New toilet bowls, hose and fresh water supply.

Engine room: New exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, cleaned intercoolers, engine block heaters and fuel lines. New impellers, mains and generator. New Bonze Sea cocks. New 12vdc LED lights. overhead insulation and Airseps.

2019

Lower: 2 new cameras in engine room and new transducer 

Fly Bridge: New chart plotter w/GPS, Simrad plotter, Furuno radar 1932/1934 with remote control on APII and Furuno RD 50 depth meter. New custom helm chair, satellite dish, air TV antenna and circuit breaker switches.

2020

New hot water heater and aft cockpit sump pump, hatch drains.
