Description

"La Vita" is a stunning example of the very hard to find Jefferson 45' Rivanna.  A veteran Great Looper, she is fully equipped to make another trip around the loop, cruise the Chesapeake Bay, or hit the Bahamas or the Keys for the winter, all while providing her captain and crew a very comfortable 2-stateroom/2-head interior layout. Her master stateroom is full-beam, and offers a centerline queen berth, ensuite private head with stall shower/tub, washer/dryer unit, and plenty of closet and drawer storage.  Her VIP stateroom is located forward in the bow, offering a completely private living space for guests. She is powered by a pair of the very reliable Cummins QSB 5.9 355hp diesel engines, has a Westerbeke 8kw diesel generator, VETUS bow thruster, Raymarine Hybrid-Touch electronics package, and comes equipped with a hard-bottom inflatable dingy with davit system.  The boat has been truly loved and well-maintained by all three of her owners over the years.  Jefferson is known for their quality build and for providing beautiful interiors with upscale joinery and woodwork, and "La Vita" is no exception.  She is a truly beautiful as well as functional yacht that will take her next Owners far over the horizon.  Scroll down for more details.

Accommodations and Interior Layout

"La Vita" has the traditional (and preferred) aft-cabin layout with galley and dinette down and forward of the salon, the master cabin aft, and the VIP cabin forward. Again, this layout gives added privacy to both the owners and their guests.
Entering the salon from the aft deck, one of the first things that you will notice is the large fixed windows which provide abundant natural lighting, which truly enhances the beauty of the teak and holly salon sole and superior woodwork throughout the space. To starboard is a comfortable "L-shaped" settee with an adjustable teak cocktail/coffee table, and a pair of glass-faced storage compartments above and aft of the settee, and a second pair of glass-faced storage compartments are to port.  Forward to port is the entertainment center with flat-screen TV and stereo.  The main electrical panel is to starboard and forward of the settee.  A set of drapes on both sides provide shade and privacy when desired.
Moving forward and down three steps, the U-shaped galley is to port with a convertible dinette across to starboard.  The dinette converts into additional sleeping quarters when needed.  The large galley features newer black Granite countertops, full-sized standing refrigerator with freezer, electric stovetop with oven beneath, microwave oven, stainless sink, and PLENTY of storage throughout.  Though "down", the galley and dinette area are not fully isolated from the salon area, keeping the chef in the conversation.
Forward still is the VIP stateroom and day head/guest head.  The VIP offers a large offset bed, hanging locker and drawer storage, flat screen TV, separate air conditioning unit, overhead hatch, and entrance to the day head/guest head.  This second head provides for a stall shower, sink with vanity, and plenty of natural lighting.
Moving aft from the salon and down three steps is the full-beam master stateroom.  This space provides the owners with a centerline queen bed aft (with large portlight above), and a private head forward to starboard.  The master also includes an abundance of built-in cabinetry and drawer storage, as well as a cedar-lined hanging locker, and a hidden washer/dryer combo unit with flat screen TV above it on the forward bulkhead.  The master head has a large shower stall/tub, sink with vanity, and plenty of storage.
Overall, the interior is rather roomy and was designed with comfort in mind.  The perfect amount of living space and storage make "La Vita" and ideal choice for anyone interested in doing some serious long-term cruising.
