The Holterman 53 Open Cockpit with Stabilisers 'Doutsen' is a spacious and extremely comfortable yacht built at the Holterman yard in Meppel. The yacht is fitted all round with a beautiful double stainless steel sea railing in combination with the wooden gunwale, giving the yacht an air of luxury. The open cockpit is very spacious and equipped with a beautiful and comfortable settee and a teak-lined table. The gangways can be reached comfortably through the cockpit doors. The wide gangways and various stainless steel railings make it easy to move to the front of the yacht, where you immediately notice the three opening escape hatches and the teak-lined pulpit. Both fore and aft, the yacht is equipped with an electric anchor winch. The open cockpit is connected to the wheelhouse at floor level by two folding doors. Once you enter the wheelhouse, you immediately notice the parquet floor, as well as the captain's chair and the bench in the same leather as the captain's chair. There is plenty of light in the wheelhouse and it is easy to ventilate via an opening hatch at the front. Stairs take you to the yacht's saloon where you will find the dinette and the galley. The material of the countertop in the galley can also be found in the wet bar.
