AKIKO’s distinct exterior was designed by renowned Naval Architect Gregory Marshall and was constructed of all aluminium by Alloy Yachts. Her sleek exterior was purposely built for exploration, making AKIKO a versatile vessel that boasts a 3,500nm range of expedition capabilities. She is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
During her 2023 refit, AKIKO had a full repaint, her main engines were overhauled and her aft deck was redesigned to raise the separate back deck to the same level, making a better use of the guest space. The entire interior was also reworked, focusing on improving her layout to achieve a modernised look and feel.
