Maharani by PRIME Megayacht Platform
The 50-meter “Human-Centered” Design
PRIME, a pre-engineered 50-meter platform designed to support a variety of superstructures, and Maharani, a paradigm-shifting layout fully designed by Vripack “human-centered” living.
Maharani is a total reimagination of space, placing the Owner’s onboard experience at the center of it all. The galley, engine room and wheelhouse were relocated to areas more strategic for the Owner(s) and crew. New entertainment areas were created or enhanced, and connected directly to the Owner(s) and guests.
Vripack’s interior design was carefully developed to embody this Human-Centered Design philosophy. The result is a warm, at-home feeling, with views to enjoy from nearly every vantage point, inside or out.
Fifth Avenue Yachting
With Maharani, the creative duo behind the Dutch design studio Vripack, and the envelope-pushing YachtCreators division of The New Yachts Company, have essentially ripped up the standard 50-meter megayacht layout and started over from scratch.
"We improved the ‘industry standard’ by more than 300%. Maharani’s main deck has 50m of clear deck space offering ten dedicated areas. From the layout it’s obvious that each of these spaces have their own intimacy and function. This allows all family members to enjoy their own time on board while still being together all on one incredible deck stretching from stern to bow," says Bart Bouwhuis, co-creative director of Vripack.
"Guest privacy was a major focus, so the upper deck is the second full deck dedicated solely to the Owner and family… This allows everyone onboard to feel at home at sea, each respecting and enjoying their own space," remarks Barin Cardenas, founder of The New Yachts Company.

Maharani is a genuine Resort Yacht Experience, offering multiple entertainment areas to be enjoyed day or night, at rest or underway. All guest areas, interior and exterior, are fully accessible to everyone, without the need for stairs. Outdoor entertaining is further enhanced by flexible furniture arrangements to accommodate larger groups or intimate gatherings.
The Owner’s Suite is ideally situated in the most comfortable location on the yacht, and has convenient, direct access to the Beach Club & Spa. In fact, the Owner’s Suite and the four (4) double Guest Staterooms all have a direct, same-level corridor straight through the Beach Club & Day Spa to the large swim platform.
By placing both the Owner and Guest Staterooms on the Guest Deck, the PRIME Team created a forward-facing Skylounge on the Main Deck, further enhancing Maharani’s megayacht look and feel.
And to create a dedicated leisure zone on the Foredeck, the Team repurposed the yachts’ forward tender garage for use as a large 7.7-meter long swimming pool.
Furthermore, all mooring equipment was hidden under the Main Deck, and a glass bulwark was placed all around, creating a spacious, wind-free outdoor lounging experience.
Maharani’s spacious Beach Club & Spa opens up to the surroundings via a stern hatch and portside beach platform. It boasts a flush-mounted hot tub for up to five (5) guests, a steam room, sauna, shower, gym, balcony, and an-all glass stern door. In a word… spectacular!
The Beach Club & Spa is easily accessible while on the Guest Deck. From all staterooms, there is a direct, same-level corridor leading straight to the Beach Club and to the large swim platform, perfect for an early morning swim in the ocean.
Featuring massive, forward facing windows, the Sky Lounge has direct access to the foredeck entertaining area.
Virtually all luxury areas above the Main Deck are surrounded by full-height glass, creating bright interiors and spectacular panoramic views. The open-plan layout in the main Salon and Dining Area further enhances this full panorama experience.
With the main Lounge facing the stern, and the Sky Lounge facing the bow, Maharani provides her guests with 360° views from all luxury areas at any time. The Sky Lounge not only acts as the perfect area from which to keep an eye on children playing in the pool, it is also a great place to relax and enjoy the view while cruising to the next exotic destination.
The Wheelhouse and Captain’s Cabin features a dedicated staircase with direct access to the Main Deck.

Close collaboration between the PRIME Megayacht Platform founders and Azure’s design & engineering team resulted in the redistribution of space on Maharani to house the propulsion system in the Tank Deck. With said Deck now resembling the engine room layout of large sailing yachts, a tremendous amount of luxury space was opened up on the Guest Deck. In essence, a 70+ meter yachting experience was created on a 50 meter yacht.
