Description

Awesome 3100 Thunder Cat. 2 x 572ci - 2 x 741hp, running 34p bravo 1's ( 8'6" beam, approx 6100 lbs, 120 gal fuel) and anything but your usual find. This cat is in perfect condition and needs absolutely nothing to drop in run and have fun. Meticulously maintained yes, but much more impressive are the painstaking extensive (and expensive) improvements with attention to detail and longevity (completed by "qualified owner and techs") that make this cat an exciting "fast" head turner yet reliable and safe. An impressive list of larger improvements starting in 2007 with the 1995 hull (Awesome's are factory 100% hand laminated and full balsa core ) was completely re-gusseted to remain safe at much higher than normal speeds then sent to back to the factory for complete "Mitchner T" paint graphics in 2007 & complete new factory installed "McCloud" cockpit interior and dash (including all gauges inc GPS in 2009. Engines extensively & completely rebuilt in 2016 by "AP Racing Engines" (Windsor) including 1 "new" gm performance block ("all" invoices available). Originally 540ci now 572ci. Dyno sheet's shows each with approx 741hp & 768 lbft. 34 hrs since rebuild. Also, at rebuild time new pro-form 850 carbs, water pumps, MSD starters, Kemp fuel pumps and complete rebuild of gimbal bearings, boots, bushings shift cables etc etc. Both transmissions replaced with "new" (no rebuilds) Merc Racing XR drives (one in 2013 and other in 2014). Lower Speed Masters both upgraded to Imco XR gears (1.25" bullet proof) by Orlandi Performance in Newport Michigan (one in 2018 and other 2020). Last big-ticket items "new" Bravo 1 props (15 -1/4" X 34P + cup) purchased and custom labbed from BBlades (1 in 2018 and the other in 2020). The Latham Steering seals replaced . So so much more. We have "all" receipts. other recent updates...complete 2 piece tonneau's, custom cnc purple snap in cockpit carpet, CMI 4" silent choice exhaust and a 2005 custom "Westcoast " aluminum tri-axle trailer (all bunks/carpet and led lights replaced 2021. Used on the occasional weekends (sellers are a 2-boat family) and trailer stored when not. Interior cabin does have a full bed + 2 seats but otherwise is intended to be light weight for top speed. No expense was spared to bring this labor of love to full expectations. Comes with 1 case of Amsoil race oil (15/50) and 1 case of Amsoil gear lube, and all spare parts (new impeller's. Belts etc etc) and most but "not all" safety equipment  inc. Fresh survey is available. Please note the "70" race style #'s are decals and easily removed. Being offered at way. "way" below sellers investment. Delivery is negotiable. Offered at $99,900 U.S. funds. Offers considered.
