Designed by Jim Wynn, she combines the economy and all-weather capability of a semi-displacement trawler with the flybridge and cockpit of a sportfisherman. Built in 1976/7 and refitted in 1999, she is again ready for upgrades and is priced accordingly... she is a project boat at this point, but would make an exceptional starting point for a buyer that has the skills and desire to own a large, spacious yacht that has a proven blue water history, as she was used for many years as a shark research vessel.

The centerline helm has double-wide helm seat with guest seating to port. Overhead is an observation platform with a 360 degree view. The aft area of the bridge is large enough to handle a good sized RIB. An electric dinghy davit makes launching and retrieval a breeze. Steps port side lead below to pilothouse and lower helm.

The main deck has stainless steel bow rail, aluminum bow pulpit fitted with three anchors, and wide side decks that lead back to the cockpit and have salon access. The cockpit has lots of room for fishing or relaxing. It features salon access, transom door, deck openings to the generator room and storage lazarette, and swim platform.

The pilothouse salon is open with mahogany trim. The lower helm is forward with side deck access and stairway to bridge. The galley fills the center of the pilothouse with wraparound cabinets, Formica counter tops, stainless steel sinks, microwave oven, three-burner range with oven, dual refrigeration, and chest freezer. A seating area with table is aft with cockpit access.

There are two staterooms. The master aft stateroom has double berth, twin hanging lockers, under-berth storage, desk, and mirrored vanity. The ensuite head compartment has vanity, toilet, and tub. The guest stateroom is forward with v-berth, under berth storage, storage shelves, and hanging locker.

The guest/day head is starboard with toilet, vanity, and shower. The accommodations are roomy, comfortable, and private.

She is equipped with twin 903 Cummins naturally aspirated diesel engines that can provide long-lasting, dependable, and economical power. She draws only 3½ feet and with her box keel and tunneled props her running gear is safe in the shallowest water. The walk-in engine room has 6'8" of headroom and is equipped with a virtually NEW Phasor diesel generator with less than 200 hours, four reverse cycle HVAC units (currently INOP), and compressors for the separate refrigerator and freezer (also currently INOP). With some improvements she's ready to be your fisherman, cruiser, or live-aboard. Call now for more information and to schedule a showing of this 54' Marine Management custom - there is plenty of work to be done here, but what a great starting point.

PLEASE NOTE (again): the boat in its' present condition should be considered a moderate project boat, and is being sold as-is, where-is to the first serious offer.
