Overview

The 32m Leopard 32 "ATHOS" was built in 2007 by ITALYACHTS, she shows a sophisticated exterior design and engineering by Andrea Bacigalupo. Her timeless and elegant interior offers accommodation up to 9 guests in 4 staterooms and she is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew.

Outside relax is ensured in the Jacuzzi on the upper deck of this sportive flybridge yacht. She has been kept in superb condition by the owner and has very low engine hours.

Powered by 3 MTU (16V2000 M92) 2,185hp diesel engines and propelled by her triple waterjets M/Y "ATHOS" is capa-ble of a top speed of 38 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 34 knots.

Steering System
Joystick Control REFIT

In the years 2022 and 2023, 2 major REFITS were carried out with the aim of transforming Athos into a modern and welcoming yacht:

- Improvement and embellishment works on the accommodation: - Construction of the 5th cabin on the upper deck - Renovation of the interior walls and furnishings with bleached oak essence - Transformation of the flybridge - Renovation of the forward sun area - Replacement of the sound systems, with new equipment and speakers - Replacement of the interior and exterior lighting system with new equipment and LED lights - Replacement of upholstery.

- Work to modernise and improve the efficiency of the systems and equipment with overhaul and replacement of many items of equipment: - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: complete overhaul of the two 45 KW generators and modernisation of their coupling panel. and replacement of the two electrical machines of the same - overhaul of the general electrical panel and the entire system in the various sub-panels of the ship with replacement of many items - MAIN ENGINES: check of the engines and work where necessary. Replacement of the bridge plotters. Reconstruction and complete replacement of exhaust pipes - NAVIGATION SYSTEM: replacement of all equipment: radar, navigation and control plotters and other important components both on the fly and on the main bridge - AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATORS: overhaul of engines and peripheral equipment with replacement of compressors and some equipment, cleaning of piping - HUMPHREE ADJUSTERS: modernised the entire system by inserting equipment for automatic trim adjustment and automatic stabilisation in navigation for waves; replaced indicators - SHIP MONITORING SYSTEM: general overhaul and replacement of some central and peripheral equipment.

Accommodations

Accommodation is for up to nine guests in four cabins in a master suite, VIP suite, a port double and a starboard twin. In addition, the master and VIP suites have LCD television screens and there are quarters for five crew. The saloon is elegantly decorated with joinery in lacquered wood and leather lined bulkheads, and is fitted settee, coffee tables, bar and an entertainment centre including a large LCD television screen. There is also a formal dining area with seating for eight guests.
