Featuring the same finish, construction techniques, and attention to detail as larger 100’+ Ocean Alexanders, this 45 represents a phenomenal opportunity to get into a caliber of boat that no other manufacturer produces in this size range. With a dry weight of over 35,000lbs and a beam of 13’ 9”, the 45 Divergence runs like a tank and is a far better blue water boat than anything else in its class.

 

The boat features an Alexseal painted hull and superstructure, making maintenance extremely easy and avoids the seasonal oxidation found on gelcoat boats that often require a compound to remove. Esthec decking, usually reserved for larger yachts, is laid throughout to create a teak look, without teak maintenance. Powered by 1,400HP of Mercury outboards, the boat gets on plane with little to no bow rise. Docking could not be easier with the Mercury joystick and a bow thruster.

A. Construction

I. General

  • Painted exterior deck, white, with professional grade Alexseal polyurethane paint and epoxy-based primers. Guarantee color match by Alexseal. No fading, yellowing and minimum maintenance with no annual compounded necessary on exterior paint.
  • Upgrade: Hazelnut Alexseal metallic paint in lieu of standard white Alexseal polyurethane paint
  • Vinylester resin with marine grade structural core. High density allows for high temperature resistivity and particular advantage in thermal and acoustic insulation

  • Ocean Alexander employs various techniques to reduce sound and vibration. Focusing on providing a quiet and comfortable yachting environment through carious proprietary techniques of controlling sound and noise transmission. Some techniques include multiple insulation barriers including reflective, absorptive and dampening materials, air pockets and flexible isolation mounts. Ultimately resulting in vibrations / sound levels that are industry leading and at times ½ to 1/10 of ISO-6954 sound levels (Unique Ocean Alexander feature)
