Modern Italian Classic! This 2001 Apreamare has spent her whole life in the freshwater's of Lake Michigan ever since being built in Italy. She is beautifully appointed with heavy amounts of teak and mahogany from bow to stern. Recent teak refinishing has been done 7/2023. There is also a full aft enclosure that was recently custom made. All service is up to date and she is ready for a new owner. A previous survey is also available upon request. Contact P.J. Tamer for more information or to set up an appointment.
The Smeraldo 9 is well equipped for two couples or a family. Her cockpit features a
teak-covered bench seat for up to five. Inset into the seat are nozzles for both rawwater washdown and a freshwater shower. The back of the helm seat features a flipdown table and a large, handmade teak locker to stow plates, cutlery and other
entertaining supplies. Down below the in-line galley is fully functional with a two-burner
electric stove, sink, and d.c.-only under-counter refrigerator. A U-shaped lounge for six
quickly converts into a double berth. Back up top, her topside is rimmed with mahogany, and caprails allaround are of varnished mahogany as well. Below the waterline, triangular-shaped
horizontal “pods” extend outward on either side of the transom, to act like rolldampening flopper-stoppers in taming a seaway.
