50Ft Wide beam canal boat, originally built by Evans and Son of Hixon, Staffordshire in 2001. The boat remained part built and unfinished for many years before she was sold, stripped and totally rebuilt with a new engine installed in 2012; she then remained onshore and was used as a holiday home in Titchmarsh Marina.

Purchased in 2020 by her current owner, this pretty canal boat was professionally grit blasted, epoxied and repainted with a new solid fuel stove fitted at a cost of circa £13,000. She is now berthed in the picturesque Woodbridge Quay (mooring transferable subject to approval).  Fantastic opportunity to acquire a lightly used example, fitted out to a very high standard and presented in beautiful order throughout.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers an open plan living area/galley with good sized heads and generous aft double cabin with 6ft headroom throughout.

Steps leading down from aft deck through double doors to generous owners cabin with double berth to port side and fitted wardrobes with plenty of stowage. Companionway to starboard side with door to port leading to good sized heads containing shower cubicle, Jabsco 'Quiet Flush' electric marine toilet to holding tank and vanity unit with basin and H&C mixer tap. 

Light and airy open plan living area/galley with range of modern fitted kitchen units with island, stainless steel sink and drainer with H&C mixer tap, full size oven with hob and grill, refrigerator/freezer. Side hatch doors to port. Saloon area with recently fitted solid fuel fire, steps leading up and through double doors to bow cockpit.

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath the cockpit sole, Shanks 10-43 R 43hp four cylinder direct injection, naturally aspirated, diesel engine (manufactured by Quanchai Engine Co in China and adapted for canal boat use by EP Barrus) through a Newage PRM 150D2 hydraulic reduction and reversing gearbox to 1 1/4" stainless steel shaft and fixed pitch three bladed propeller.

Construction

Wide beam, cruiser stern canal boat built in 2001 by Evans & Son of Hixon, Staffordshire After changes of ownership the vessel was finally completed in 2012. Steel plated and welded hull/superstructure, tiller steering to steel blade rudder welded to steel rudder stock. Professionally repainted in 2011, hull and topsides grit blasted, 4 coats of Joton 90 Epoxy with cream and navy blue paint finish.
