Eastbay 43 HX

The Eastbay line from Grand Banks, was designed by Ray Hunt and is known for its beautiful lines and comfortable sailing characteristics. This is no different with this Eastbay 43 HX 'Waterdans', which is one of the most sold models from the Eastbay series.

This is a real 'down east' cruiser with a cruising speed of 20 knots. The spacious layout, together with the teak walnut interior, make the 'Waterdans' a comfortable and stylish yacht.

In recent years, the 'Waterdans' stayed in an insulated shed every winter at our yard, where she has also been extensively maintained.

If you want to take a moment for yourself or want to have a pleasant evening with the family, this yacht offers the space to do so. The 'Waterdans' has three seating areas. To start with perhaps the most beautiful place on this yacht, the aft. This is the ideal place for a sun worshiper who wants to enjoy a warm summer afternoon. If it gets too hot, the bimini top can be easily unfolded and provide shade.

If you want to accompany the skipper during the trip, two comfortable corner sofas with a table in the wheelhouse offer space for the whole family. A beautiful second bucket seat is also provided for the card reader. To finish the wheelhouse, the windows are fitted with tinted and heat-resistant glass.

In this fast Eastbay, the skipper has two 450 hp Caterpillar engines, a bow thruster and Raymarine navigation equipment.

When you walk below deck from the wheelhouse you will see the galley on the port side, equipped with a four-burner Bosch ceramic hob, Severin oven, Waeco refrigerator and a generous amount of storage for all your kitchen utensils. On the starboard side, opposite the kitchen, there is a cozy dinette for five people that can also be used as a double bed.

There are also two cabins in the bow. On the port side, the guest cabin, with a double bed and an extra single bed above it. Opposite the guest cabin is the bathroom with a vacuum toilet and a closeable shower cabin with plateau to sit down.

The owner's cabin has the popular free-standing double bed with an escape hatch above that can also be used to stargaze in the evening.
