The Marakech is a 1966 Nicholas Vitsen & Vis Dutch Steel Boat, fitted with Twin DT575 Daf 6 cylinder Diesel engines. It has a cruising speed of 10 knots and a max of 12 knots. Marakech has 6 berths in 3 cabins and a max headroom of 7'.
It's suited for a life onboard, viewing highly recommend.
The Port engine shows signs of emulsification of Oil, it probably requires the head gasket replaced but there may be other causes also.
There is no recent survey, it was last overhauled and replated in areas in 1996 but has not had anything since that date. It will probably need some areas of the hull to be further attended given that its now another 25 years later. We do not have any recent measurements of this.
There is no option to lift the boat at Swansea without specialised crane hire (approx £3,5k each lift)
There is no option for long term berthing in Swansea sorry, the boat will have to be moved to another marina of a buyers choosing upon completion of a sale. We believe a low loader can transport it.
