Dorado is a custom build boat company that is popular with fishing guides and serious fishermen. The owner had his Dorado 25 SE custom-built as a first-class fishing machine, with the creature comforts that make life fun on the water. It performs well in shallow coastal environments and yet is equally adept at handling sloppy offshore conditions. The reliable, single Yamaha 300 provides the power you need with excellent fuel economy.

With a proven hull design and gunwale heights that allow an easy, yet secure, reach the Dorado never disappoints. The main station offers a Simrad evo3S navigation system with a 16" display. The navigation system has "structure scan" to get a high-quality image of the bottom. The station in the easy-to-climb tower sports a 12" Simrad display.

The aft bait well is a huge 60-gallon and a 37-gallon bait well can be found up front. There is a double insulated fish box on each side which can also be used as a cooler. The owner states that when used as a cooler they are as good as a top-of-the-line marine cooler.

The owner customized the layout with fishing in mind. The boat has a premium non-slip deck. There are 24 easily accessible rod holders on the tower and leaning post, with multiple gunwale holders. Behind the captain's seat is a tackle center with box slides and drawers. All boxes and compartments are where they should be.

The boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha outboard, with trim tabs. It has twin 10-foot power poles, a jack plate, and a quick-release, remotely controlled, 36-volt 112 lb. Minn Kota trolling motor. The trolling motor can be placed fore or aft as needed.

The Dorado 25 SE also has creature comforts that make the fishing experience fun for everyone. When he built his Dorado, the owner made sure that nothing he added would clutter the boat or interfere with the ability to fish. It has a 330-watt Fusion stereo with 14 speakers and 2 sub-woofers, LED courtesy and aft underwater lights, a non-slip swim platform, and strategically placed 32-ounce cup holders. The bow dodger is a great feature. It can be quickly deployed to provide a large area to get out of the sun.

The included dual-axle aluminum trailer has disc brakes and two spare tires.

Condition

This Dorado 25 SE, and the included trailer, are in excellent condition. The owner states that the engine has been serviced according to factory recommendations and that all systems are operational. The hubs and brakes on the trailer were serviced in June 2022. The upholstery could use a good cleaning.
