Custom 42

The Arrow is a 42' custom fabricated Dive Vessel. The hull is the only thing original to the vessel. She was completely fabricated for diving, and re-powered with twin Volvo Penta diesels.
Seating capacity for 16 divers. She is extremely diver friendly, and was fabricated with the diver in mind. We have divers from all over the country board the Arrow and they love her.
Owning a Dive Shop and being a Master Instructor, for 30 years the Arrow is used as a teaching platform as well as a Charter boat. With the 12' beam, a 23 GRT she handles rough water very well. She is a spacious vessel which allows divers to bring more gear than they are used to on board.
The Arrow is currently running in the St. Lawrence Seaway with trips in the US and Canada. She is babied, and maintained by the Harbor she runs out of.
1. Large seats that are not low to the deck.
2. Twin Fin ladders, divers come out of the water with fins on.
3. Center stability railing that runs the length of
the deck.
4. Porta-potty in the spacious front hold for divers
comfort.
5. Fore covered area for divers to get out of the
sun, which completely encloses.
6. Custom Lights for night diving.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The Arrow is run as a charter for Day and night dives. She is very accommodating and spacious to ensure diver comfort.

HORN AND/OR WHISTLE: Electric horn, not tested.

GPS: Hummingbird 998c GPS Fishing System

PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES: Several Solas Approved observed.

THROWABLE PFD: Two ring buoys observed.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: Three size II observed. All fire extinguishers recently serviced. servicing.

FIXED FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM: Installed, evidence of recent service.

COMPASS: Ritchie Magnetic.

NAVIGATION LIGHT PLACEMENT: Placement meets USCG requirements.

DISTRESS SIGNALS: Current flares observed.

BILGE PUMPS: Four

DISCHARGE OF OIL PLACARD: Observed.

DISCHARGE OF GARBAGE PLACARD: Observed.

DECK & HULL:

1. 4 Type II fire extinguishers. Brand new 2023.
2. Under deck fire suppression system.
3. 3 USCG required Fire Pails.
4. Life jackets are USCG approved.
5. Water pump and hose to clean her off after a long day on the water.
6. In the fore covered area there are heaters that we have never hooked up. All wiring and hosing is there.
7. Interior courtesy overhead lights, as well as light in the front cabin area, and lights for the 3 stairs that go down to the cabin.
8. There is a hydraulic aft steering wheel on the starboard side of the boat.
9. There is a bow storage area with a water tight hatch.
10. There is a USCG certified throw buoy fore and aft.
11. Numerous cleats all around the vessel.
12. She has 44' of dive bench.
