A-SALT-WEAPON is a 1981 34' Crusader Boats hull built in 1981 in Marathon, FL, originally as a cuddy cabin sport fisherman but converted over to a Maine lobster boat configuration. The hull is hard chine, where more power equals more speed. It would be an excellent racing hull. Originally these hulls all were made with no keels, the front shoe would be one-piece tapered back for twin engines and built into full keel to skeg for single screw. This boat has a wooden keel to skeg under the rudder, and it has a propeller cage.
There is a 2007 IVECO NXOENTM 295HP diesel engine, 2" SS shaft to 4 blade bronze wheel. It has Capilano hydraulic steering and Hydra-Slave pot hauler with fold up SS davit. There is a SiTex SVS-880 plotter, Uniden UM435 VHF, Iveco digital control panel, Danforth Constellation compass, Morse mechanical controls. It has deck lights and running light, live lobster tank, and cockpit work station.
The boat could stand some elbow grease and bottom paint. It is being sold due to health reasons but actively fished last season. It is stored outside and could be easily get ready to launch.
