‘Black Pearl’ was purchased as a lined sailaway by the owner in 2021 to be fitted out as a home for their young family. However, the unexpected arrival of another child has led to a change of plan and the vessel is now for sale. Although Black Pearl is ready to move onto, a few finishing touches would complete what is a very attractive and comfortable floating home. The current mooring may be transferable to a new owner with the land owner’s agreement.

Construction

Welded steel plate – 10mm base plate, 6mm hull sides, 5mm cabin sides, 4mm cabin roof, integral steel handrails, side doors, white painted superstructure and black coach lines, white roof and epoxy coated hull, spray foam insulation, integral steel fuel tank, insulated stainless steel water tank, chrome framed windows and port holes with toughened glass, chromed dome vents, painted steel deck fittings, bow storage locker.

Accommodation

With dimensions of 11′ x 7’8″, the aft cruiser deck is spacious enough to host a small party! There is also ample storage in the wrap around lockers, a separate LPG locker with two gas bottles, deck access to the engine bay, batteries and heating systems, a port side helm position with a polyurethane gripped steering wheel, engine and bow thruster controls.
Double doors, a sliding hatch and wide steps lead into the accommodation-:
Galley – 9’3″ x 11’6″. Fitted base units on both sides of the boat with soft close cupboards and drawers, acrylic, marble effect work surfaces and a breakfast bar with two stools, an integrated washing machine, black acrylic sink and drainer with a chrome mixer tap, free-standing cooker and fridge/freezer, rectangular windows, side doors to starboard, wood effect laminate flooring.
Saloon – 9’6″ x 11’6″. Leading from the galley, a large L shaped sofa, two radiators, a multifuel stove on a tiled plinth with a double-skinned stainless steel chimney, rectangular windows, light grey carpet.
Passageway – radiator, rectangular and port hole windows, carpet, doors to-:
Second cabin 6′ x 8’11” – Fitted with overlapping bunk beds, the space could also accommodate a  single bed or be used as a study or office.
Bathroom – 6′ x 8’11”. Fitted white storage unit with black quartz work top and upstand, a rectangular wash basin with a mixer tap, a large mirror above, an electric flush cassette toilet, a 1200 x 800 shower cubicle with sliding doors, quartz effect wipe down wall panels, heated towel radiator, port hole window, black tile flooring.
Main cabin – 10′ x 11’6″ (reducing to 10’1″ at the bow). Free-standing double bed with storage beneath, a large wardrobe with mirrored doors, a further pair of double wardrobes, chest of drawers, radiator, port hole windows on both sides, light grey carpet, hardwood glazed doors to the forepeak with access to the domestic water pump and accumulator cylinder.
Headroom throughout is 7’2″.
The interior fit-out is in oak veneered ply throughout with the head linings and side linings to deck level painted white. LED spot lights, grey curtains and blinds complete the finish.

Engines

Canaline 52hp 4 cylinder diesel engine, PRM 150 2:1 reduction gearbox coupled to a shaft drive. Single lever engine control, wheel helm, RPM, temperature, oil pressure and rudder gauges. Vetus 95kgf bow thruster with joystick control. Less than 50 engine hours recorded.

Equipment

Fireline FX5 multifuel stove, Shurejust 75L hot water calorifier, Webasto Thermo Top Evo 5kW diesel heater (hot water and central heating) with smart controller, Hotpoint LPG cooker, Lamona washing machine, fire extinguishers, fire blanket, CO alarm.

Electrics

12v – 1 x 50A engine alternator, 1 x 175A domestic alternator, 1 x 105Ah lead acid engine cranking battery, 3 x 105Ah lead acid leisure batteries, 2 x 105Ah lead acid bow thruster cranking batteries. Sterling Quasi Sine Wave 1.8kW inverter, RuleMate 500gph bilge pump, Vetus WPS domestic water pump, shower drain pump, Aquafax 16A galvanic isolator, LED cabin lights, horn, headlight, navigation lights.
240v – shore power inlet socket, Victron 3600W isolation transformer, mains RCBO, plug sockets, hot water immersion heater.
