Built by Multiplast, ‘Lucente’ is the latest and most exciting VPLP Clak 40.  She is the new generation scow bow launched in May 2022 which has been designed to perform fast and efficiently on all points of sail. In her first short season she proved her worth finishing 9th in the Route du Rhum and 1st in the Lodi Group Trophy (40' Malouine). This high-performance vessel has been equipped and maintained to the highest standards with no expense spared.  She comes with a comprehensive and detailed inventory including new Axxon carbon rigging with 1 set of spreaders, new engine and new North Sails.  All controls return to the highly protected cockpit which has a generous cuddy and coamings, allowing  for sheltered trimming.  This is a perfect opportunity to purchase an ‘as new’ Class 40 which is sold ready to race.
