Derived from the Norman 24, the Atlanta 24 is a solidly built cabin cruiser suitable for all the inland waterways. Phoenix Rose has been recently refurbished, antifoul and rubbing strakes renewed, new fenders, head lining, curtains, carpet, flooring and equipment fitted. She is ready for the season and would make a great starter boat. A recent (2022) insurance condition survey is available to prospective buyers. Construction
Cream GRP hull, decks and superstructure (original gelcoat), alloy and PVC gunwale fendering, timber hull rubbing strakes, stainless steel pulpit, grab rails and canopy frame, alloy deck fittings, cabin window frames, folding windscreen and Houdini hatch (new seal fitted). Burgundy fabric cockpit canopy.
Accommodation
Aft cockpit with bench seating and matching helm and co-pilot folding seats, all in white and burgundy vinyl upholstery. Access to the engine, fuel tank, LPG locker and cabin heater under the seating, additional lockers under the floor, cockpit floor table mounting socket, marine teak effect cockpit flooring. Helm to port.
Doorway to starboard with a step down into the cabin-:
Full height locker to starboard.
WC and shower compartment to port, tiled and waterproof board walls, manual sea toilet, corner wash basin, hot and cold mixer tap with shower attachment, shower tray.
Galley to starboard with fitted storage, sink, cooker, fridge and water heater.
Dinette to port with seating, storage beneath, table and infill cushions to make a compact double berth.
Forward V berth/seating, storage beneath, half-height bulkheads, small shelf forward, Houdini deck hatch.
The cabin interior has been nicely refurbished with beige carpet linings, a red panel head lining, red upholstery, burgundy carpet and curtains.
