The Chris Craft 328 is a contemporary design that still stand the test of time. She’s constructed on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a wide beam, and her centerline helm position (as opposed to the traditional starboardside console) is somewhat unique. Belowdecks, the midcabin floorplan is quite spacious for a boat this size. The layout is fairly conventional with double berths fore and aft, a small galley and a head with shower. The anchor arrangement is pretty slick—a concealed windlass lowers the self-stowing anchor through an opening beneath the bow. Additional features include a walk-through windshield, an electric engine compartment hatch, and transom door. The twin 5.7-liter Volvo I/Os cruise at 23 knots and reach a top speed of 36–37 knots.
