Not to mention, it needed to be a Hybrid and be able to be used in full electric mode! He did it and more. The boat hit 104.2 knots in pre delivery runs beating the 101.6 knots Rib World Record. The c'est normal 52R Hybrid is truly one of a kind all carbon speed yacht. Powered by twin 1550hp Mercury Racing engines (totalling 3100 hp) for when you're chasing records and going for speed. But, it is also powered by electric hybrid engines to give you up to two hours at less than 8 knots in completely silent electric mode.
