Atlanta 27 ‘Chetwynd’, Volvo Penta petrol engine, Volvo stern drive, BSS to 2026. Recent history includes antifouled, hull polished and waxed, stern drive service, oil change,  new pivot bushes, new bellows and water hose and new set of anodes in 2021. Also the engine had oil and filter change and a new water pump impeller.

Construction

GRP moulded hull, decks (inc. chain locker), topsides and cockpit hard top with removable fabric sun roof, Treadmaster non-slip on decks, stainless steel pulpit rail, fender baskets, grab rails, cockpit rails, bathing ladder and platform with hardwood slats, aluminium stanchions, white PVC coated wire guard rail, alloy deck fittings and window frames, alloy and PVC gunwale fendering, burgundy fabric canopy with white piping.

Accommodation

Aft cockpit with good access from both sides and the stern, aft bench seating with wrap around back cushions, pair of matching helm’s and co-pilot’s swivel seats, side lockers, teak effect flooring, lifting floor hatch to the engine bay, port side helm position with excellent visibility all around. Doorway and folding hatch lead down to the cabin via removable steps (access behind to calorifier, consumer unit, etc)-:
An enclosed and lined WC and shower compartment to starboard with wash basin, hot and cold taps, shower attachment, a manual sea toilet, mirror, shelf and towel holder.
Compact and well equipped fitted galley to port with storage lockers, work top, stainless steel sink with mixer tap, LPG cooker with hob, grill and oven, and electric fridge.
Seating that converts to a single berth to starboard with drawer storage beneath.
Dinette that converts to a double berth to port with locker storage beneath and shelving behind.
Forward seating that converts to a double berth with infill cushions, storage beneath, shelving forward and an escape hatch to the foredeck.
The original beige/cream side and head linings are in good condition with complimentary patterned upholstery, new grey carpet and window blinds completing the interior finish.
Cabin headroom is approximately 6′ (1.83m).

Engines

Volvo Penta AQ145B coupled to a Volvo stern drive with a single lever control. Engine and stern drive last serviced in March 2021. Gauges and instruments – volts, temperature, fuel, RPM, engine hours, oil pressure, helm, Clipper speed and distance log.

Equipment

Fire extinguishers and blanket, anchor and chain, LPG locker, Nelson LPG cooker, CO alarm, water tank gauge, Jabsco manual sea toilet, hot water calorifier tank.

Electrics

12v – 1 x engine battery, 2 x leisure batteries, bilge fan, bilge pump, navigation and anchor lights, spot light, horn, screen wipers, cockpit and cabin lighting, domestic water pump, shower drain pump, Isotherm fridge, Sony CD/radio player with cabin and cockpit speakers.
230v – shore power lead and connection, consumer unit, immersion heater, plug sockets, engine bay heater, battery charger.
