, RFS are delighted to be representing (for the second time) this high-quality Artic Blue 23 (7.2m). She has been berthed locally and lovingly maintained by her current owner. Recently, the Yanmar 260hp engine has benefited from a full, major re-build, which has been fully documented (available for reading). The Mercruiser drive has also been fully overhauled. In order to remain fully in control, she is fitted with trim tabs, hydraulic steering and a flooding ballast tank for stability and bow rise control. The helm station is fully equipped with everything to hand, the wrap around driver and co-pilot seats function as leaning posts or comfy ‘armchair’ style seats. The fully teaked deck space and seating layout is extremely generous and very comfortable for 6 or more people. The 3-person bench seat, with large / reversable back backrest serves as the perfect pillow whilst lounging at anchor on the engine hatch sunbed. In the bow there is seating on the front of the console for 2 people. The onboard facilities / practical features comprise, large console locker with built in sea toilet, lots of storage for all the essentials, electronic engine hatch, automatic fire suppression system, anchor locker, sturdy stainless steel hand rail contouring the bow for security, foot rest at the helm, storage bin on the helm, which also houses the “new” i-com VHF radio, boarding ladder built into the bathing platform and a suite of electronics to maintain confidence on the longest of passages (Raymarine chart plotter, i-com VHF radio, Yanmar engine data gauge, analogue engine data gauge) This long-distance cruiser must be seen to be fully appreciated; she is available for viewing here at Trafalgar Wharf in Portsmouth (currently stored in our Drystack).
