This beautiful 2 owner classic mahogany boat has been lovingly restored and cared for. A beautiful addition to the shoreline at your cottage or a handsome launch for some inland scenic cruising.
(Current location: Wallaceburg, ON)
This wonderful example of Canadian craftsmanship was built in Wallaceburg Ontario by the Mac Craft company in 1941. She represents one of the last mahogany pleasure craft built by Mac Craft, who at the end of 1941 began producing mine sweepers, Fair Mile motor launches and other materials related to the war effort.
At this time the Aiverley I is one of only six Mac Craft mahogany runabouts known to still exist. She is labelled as Hull #2 and was purchased new by the family of Shirley (Sheila) McIntyre (who can be seen operating the Aiverley in one of the listing photos) for daily use on Lake Muskoka.
In 2015/2016 the Aiverley had a full restoration completed by master craftsman James Osler of James Osler Classic Boat Restorations in Port Carling, Ontario.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a piece of boating history, a true Canadian classic.
