Description

Designed by Albert Condon and built in Maine at the Grey Boat Company, TOLLIE is an embodiment of “a classic of a bygone era”.  She was built for cruising the coast of Maine, which she has successfully done for nearly 100 years.  Her mere existence at this stage is testimony to her time-tested quality of construction, and wholesome design that has inspired past owners to restore her and maintain her as opposed to “upgrading” to a more modern boat.In 2012 TOLLIE underwent a major structural restoration whereby many of the frames were sistered with new fastenings, the entire transom was replaced, the stem repaired, the ceiling in the fore peak completely replaced.TOLLIE’s interior has been completely replaced by a professional yard to a high yacht standard, with varnished interior trim with fiddles, all new furniture on both sides, doors, drawers and lockers, installation of an ABYC compliant holding tank system, head compartment, sink, head compartment door, icebox, butcher block counter tops, stove and galley lockers. In more recent years TOLLIE has had the good fortune to be professionally maintained at a yard specializing in wooden boats. For a copy of a 2019 survey or to schedule a visit to see TOLLIE, please email Alec @ArtisanBoatworks.comShow More
