This is a rare classic boat built by Jack Broom (Norfolk) in the late 1950s. She is stunning and is one of a kind as she still has the original Johnson outboard engine. This boat was used by the wardens at Minsmere nature reserve in Suffolk (where the BBC series Springwatch is filmed) for over 50 years and has been restored by a skilled Cambridgeshire boat builder in 2022/2023 which has been a labour of love. The hull and transom have been replaced (teak and mahogany) and the entire boat has be re-roved.
She looks absolutely stunning in high gloss mahogany with all original fittings. The interior is so beautiful and very retro. The only addition is an electric start button and the safety feature of a ‘kill cord’ so that the engine turns off in the event the driver leaves the boat.
She looks so much like a Riva from Lake Como! It attracts so much attention and admiration wherever it goes and is a work of art. So sad to see it go. We can deliver in England for the cost of the petrol and include a road/launching trailer. Please contact me for a viewing/test drive (we are able to launch from Jones Boatyard in St Ives, Cambridgeshire).
