Description

Motor: Ruggerini MM150 Scheepsdieselmotor 2 cilinder
Vermogen: 14,7 Kw/20 PK
Bouwjaar: omstreeks 1935
Gerestaureerd in 2002
Materiaal: Hout en epoxy
Inclusief op-maat-gemaakt afdekzeil.

Omschrijving Engels

This Admiral's Sloop, fully restored in 2002, is from 1935 and was originally used on the Thames to transport crews from the wharf to their ships

This Admiral's Sloop, fully restored in 2002, is from 1935 and was originally used on the Thames to take the crew from the quay to their ships and vice versa. She therefore has the appropriate name, the Union Jack. According to the story, the sloop sailed the English Channel on its own. In 2002, the sloop was completely restored, with the exterior of the overnight built vessel being epoxy coated. The interior was completely re-upholstered with oak and teak and a brand new two-act Ruggerini diesel engine was installed. The Union Jack has only been used for private use in the Amsterdam canals in the following years and therefore there are less than 500 kilometers on the Ruggerini's counter. The boat comes with a custom made sail (including aluminum tubes).
