Snappy Strap

With the advent of point-and-shoot waterproof cameras, it's great to be able to leave them lying in the cockpit for capturing all those Kodak moments.
But a camera isn't particularly secure, and it's easy to accidentally drop it onto the deck -- or even knock it overboard. To solve the problem, I removed the neck strap from my camera, slipped on a single snap clip and refastened the camera strap.
Now, I have a clip I can use to secure the camera -- either by snapping it on or around a rail, a Bimini top support, a chair or a table.
I don't worry about my camera falling overboard, but it's always ready for use.
