Boating Hazard Reported on Chetco River in Southwest Oregon

The Curry County Marine Patrol has issued a warning to boaters about an obstruction the Chetco River, about six miles upriver from the ocean in an area known as the “Upper Tamba.”

The site is a mile downriver from below Alfred A. Loeb State Park.
