Built by MasPower, the genset is driven by a 3600 rpm direct-injection Farymann diesel engine, is designed for a long service life and can be hand-cranked in an emergency. It’s freshwater cooled, with a heat exchanger containing a cupronickel tube bundle and removable end caps.
